Refractory ball is a spherical refractory material mainly made of industrial alumina and refractory kaolin. It is made through scientific formula, forming, and high-temperature calcination.
Features of refractory ball
1.Good high-temperature resistance, with a maximum heat-resistant temperature of 1700℃
2.High mechanical strength and long service life
3.Good thermal shock stability, resistant to sudden cold and heat
4.Good chemical stability, no chemical reaction with materials
Types of refractory ball
According to different raw materials, refractory balls can be divided into three types
1. High aluminum fire resistant ball
2. Silicone fire-resistant balls
3. magnesium aluminum fire resistant balls
Specification
size: 10-60mm

Working temperature(℃)≤ 1650
Bulk density (g/cm3) ≥ 2.3
Application
Refractory balls are particularly suitable for high and low temperature shift furnaces, reformers, hydrogenation converters, desulfurization tanks, and methanation furnaces in the production of fertilizer plants. It plays a role in dispersing gas and liquid, supporting, covering, and protecting the catalyst.
Refractory balls can also be used in hot blast furnaces and heating transformation equipment in the steel industry.
